Nyati Wilderness is an expansive game farm located 3.5 hours, from Johannesburg in the beautiful Waterberg. Our 15 000-hectare farm boasts 4 of the big-5. The tranquil setting is zigzagged by a multitude of streams and dams across the landscape hosting amazing wildlife. The property boasts five lodges Ingwe, Idwala, Valamanzi, Riverdance & Zingela. Valamanzi has self-catering private chalets along the beautiful dam and has a swimming pool and private braai areas. Riverdance & Zingela are best for groups of friends or families in these private lodges. Ingwe is the flagship 5-star lodge to pamper and spoil you! Idwala is a state-of-the-art tented eco lodge. Please note we do not have a restaurant on site!

Establishment Facilities:
Game drives and walks are available. Self drive is only available to guests who hire a guide. Quad biking, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, range shooting and visits to the bushman paintings are available. Pre-booking required for masseuses, beautician or helicopter services. Two airstrips & two Heli-pads on site. The lovely 120 person wedding venue is located at Valamanzi. Catering is available for a minimum of 4pax for two nights on request.
Nyati Wilderness forms part of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve as it boasts such diverse fauna and flora. Located 35 minutes East of Vaalwater, or 90km from Ellisras, Limpopo.
Game drive our 15 000 hectares to see four of the Big 5, 5 of the dangerous 7 and a myriad of other plains game! Fish the tranquil dams. Quad biking, guided walks, clay pigeon shooting, range shooting, and swimming are some of the other attractions.

Idwala Lodge: One two-bedroom modern tent with full en-suite bathrooms. Balcony & views. Three one-bedroom modern tent with full en-suite, seating, balcony & views. Lapa, with a dining area, lounge, bar, wc, patio & pool. Helipad & Observatory.
With gorgeous views of the mountains and dam, this lodge caters for 12 guests in 6 en-suite bedrooms. The Lodge has a large kitchen, indoor fireplace, dining room, lounge, pool table, small bar, private braai / boma area, patio, pool, DSTV WiFi.
Valamanzi 4 sleeper chalets have a king bedroom with a dressing room leading onto the balcony. A full separate bathroom. Upstairs loft rooms have two single beds. Each chalet has a kitchen, lounge, large balcony overlooking the dam. Private braai.
Chalet 1 sleeps 6 guests. There are 2 king ensuite bedrooms (one can be made twin). The 3rd king bedroom has a sleeper couch. The chalet also boasts an open plan kitchen, lounge, private braai area, extensive covered patio with a view of the lovely dam.
Zingela lodge consists of 6 bedrooms en-suite which accommodates 12 guests. The lodge also boasts a full kitchen, lapa, large bar, large dining table, private braai area, wc, small lounge, pool, DSTV, WIFI. Wheelchair friendly.
- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 15 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
FULL BOARD & FULL CATERING REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 4 PAX FOR 2 NIGHTS. Full board includes a game drive but excludes drinks. All Inclusive includes all drinks as well as a game drive per day. Riverdance & Zingela have a minimum of 6 person bookings. RIVERDANCE ROOM 6 & ROOM 7 MAY ONLY BE ADDED ON TO A GROUP BOOKING OF THE LODGE. IT MAY NOT BE INDIVIDUALLY BOOKED WITHOUT THE LODGE BOOKING. Note that Hunting rates include transfers to and from O.R. Tambo International for a 7 day safari and more. Professional hunter, all meals, both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, daily laundry, camp staff and field trophy preparation. No other rates may apply to hunters and their families. They are quoted in Dollars or Euros and are not included here.
The trip is approximately 2.5 hours from Johannesburg if you leave at midday. If you leave after that you can add on up to 90 minutes for rush hour traffic. Please note that there is limited cell phone reception on the farm and on the dirt road. MTN reception is best. If you need assistance, please call 014 755 4104. Follow the N1 to Polokwane. Take the Marble Hall / Nylstroom turn-off at the tollgate. Go through the tollgate on the far left. Travel through Nylstroom. Continue to Vaalwater. NYATI WILDERNESS RIVERDANCE GATE (this is often the best road to use although the closest lodges to this gate are Riverdance and Idwala): Turn right at the first stop-street in Vaalwater on the Melkrivier Road. Proceed straight for 33km. Turn left onto Dorset dirt road. Continue straight onto Werkendam. This is a total of 10km of dirt road to the Riverdance main gate on your right. You can then continue through the farm to Valamanzi, Zingela, Ingwe & Idwala. (Please enquire which is the best road to use) DIRECTIONS TO NYATI WILDERNESS FOR INGWE, VALAMANZI & ZINGELA: Follow the N1 to Polokwane. Take the Marble Hall / Nylstroom turn-off at the tollgate. Go through the tollgate on the far left. Travel through Nylstroom. Continue to Vaalwater. Proceed through Vaalwater; just as you are about to leave Vaalwater turn right, away from the shopping centre with Zeederberg Spar & Total Garage on your left-hand side. Turn right on to the R33 and continue on the tar road for 33km. Turn right onto the dirt Visgat road (if you see the signs for Poer se Loop turn back). Travel for approximately 11km on the dirt road to the T-junction. Turn left at the T-junction (you will see the Nyati directional sign) and continue for 23km to the gate. After the T-junction continue straight past the Success Road on the right. After approximately 23km of dirt road you will see the Nyati main gate on your right, recessed from the road. This gate has a thatched roof. Note that the road is marked on Google Maps as Browns Cutting Limpopo
